The last Walk on the Wildside was auctioned for charity at Christie's London, on Wednesday 2nd May for David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.

The high demand for Mark's individual style and design is
testimony to the everlasting appeal of the hippo. Walk on
the Wildside is a unique sculpture. Prior to this design
Mark had never attempted to create movement within any
of his hippos. This design piece has a soothing aura with
the hippo looking relaxed and at ease swimming in the
water which is represented by the glass.
